After his time at Hammersmith Hospital, Mr. Palmer worked as a consultant for Iceland's first IVF Unit at the University Hospital in Reykjavik before moving to Greece in 1992. Since then, he has been involved with prominent IVF units in Athens, including serving as the Director of the successful Assisted Reproduction Unit at Mitera Hospital from 2002 to 2016.
Mr. Palmer's notable accomplishments include his collaboration with St. Sophia's Children's Hospital at Athens University, which led to the first birth in Greece following embryo-biopsy and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis.
